My name is Scott, and I live in Oakland with my two cats. After years of pet sitting for family and friends, I decided to pursue my passion and pet sit professionally.

I have had a wide range of experience with animals and pets. Growing up, my family had many pets from cats & fish to dogs & birds, and my grandfather had a farm with horses and cows. Within the last decade, I have worked at a pet store and provided pet sitting for family and friends. Now, I’ve taken the next step and established my business, Cat Calls LLC.

Scott has been our cat sitter for 2 years... we've now had to move out of his service area and are really bummed about it. Ever since switching to a cat sitter rather than boarding our cat when we go out of town, our cat has been much calmer upon our return. She seems comfortable and happy after Scott visits. Scott has always been available every time we've needed him, even for 2 weeks at a time over the holidays. He sends daily emails to keep in touch and he's happy to do other small things when he stops by, like bring in mail and packages. I would greatly recommend Cat Calls!

Scott has been watching my cat when I'm gone for almost a year and a half now and I am so grateful for him! He's super detail oriented, cares deeply about my cat, and sends update emails each time he visits. We used Scott's services for about four years, and are very sad to have to find another pet sitter because we've moved out of his service area. He was always very quick to respond to requests for cat sitting, and was available for every trip we took, both well planned and short notice (like, short short notice - we got stuck in Tahoe once because they closed the roads for snow - Scott was able to keep on coming and caring for our cat without issue). Before we started using Scott as our cat sitter, we had been boarding our cat at the vet. Our cat is not a fan of other furry creatures, and would always return home stressed and upset from being in a kennel near other animals. We decided to start doing in-home cat sitting instead and it was the best decision we could have made. Scott's daily emails were a great peace of mind, knowing that everything was going well with our little guy. Plus, when we got back home, our cat was content, well-cared for, and emotionally chill. Scott and his team were so easy to communicate with if anything came up, adjusting to our cat's changing feeding and medication instructions without issue. I can't recommend Cat Calls enough.

Scott is amazing, and absolutely gives you the peace of mind you need knowing your pet is in perfect hands while you're away. I am a first-time cat caregiver and worried about so much about leaving my sweet 7-month-old kitten.Scott is the consummate professional and so skilled at what he does, and really took those fears away. The entire process of working with him is spectacular:- He came over to meet my cat and explain how everything would work, learn what she eats and how she plays, and generally got his bearings while immediately forging a relationship with my kitty.- He e-mailed in advance of my departure to let me know what time of day he would be coming over during my absence, so that I would have comfort in knowing what to expect.- Once my travel started, he kept in constant contact, sending me e-mails summarizing how the day went and pictures to show that my cat was not only alive but also happy! - And upon my return, he left a wonderful written summary of events providing ample information about their experience.I am just so grateful for Scott, and that miraculously I am in his geographic area! Thank you, Scott, for everything you do, and for giving me peace of mind while I'm away. You totally rock.

Our family has sadly moved out of Scott's area. We were very happy with his care for our fuzzy friend during many trips out of town over the past few years. Very reliable and pleasant to communicate with. He persevered through some initially trying times with our sometimes moody cat and became good buddies with him. Scott is _outstanding_. An absolute model in professional kitty care. I echo the other comments. Scott does everything right --- and very well. He's a total pro in terms of staying in contact, including always making sure that he knows when I'm back from a trip and the cats are back in safe (or at least my) hands. He spends a generous amount of time with the cats, always takes care of everything that needs doing, without fail. Leaves helpful reports. And he obviously has a real fondness for our feline comrades. I'm confident in Scott and I'm certain that the cats consider him a good and reliable buddy, too.I've used professional pet sitters for 25 years: in North Carolina, then Atlanta, then here in Oakland. Scott is wonderful!!! He is so professional and experienced. And he clearly understands and enjoys cats. He contacted me daily with updates, which was so comforting. When we arrived home, our Alder looked great (he usually looks like he hasn't groomed much when we go away) so I know he was feeling good while we were gone. Scott also left us notes about his visits to enjoy when we got home. I am so excited to have found Scott. We have another trip coming up and it's so nice to know I won't have to worry about our Alder! =^..^=

Scott is the very best. He's been watching our 12 year old cat over the past 3 years, and has provided so much reassurance whenever we're away. Our cat Mowgli can be a little cranky with strangers, but Scott knows how to read him and give him the security and love that he needs. The notes he leaves and emails he sends give us so much peace of mind. We don't know what we'd do without him! He's simply the best!
